Wash your wool products infrequently
The Merino Wool fibers are naturally fragile in such a fine quality and need to be handled with care. Wool has a natural resistance to the growth of microorganisms and odor and can therefore be used for several days without smelling. We recommend hanging it out for aeration instead of washing the wool in the machine. This way you save both the environment and preserve the quality of wool longer.
If you find a stain on your wool garment, it’s important that you remove the stain as quickly as possible to avoid anything sticking. Steer clear of the washing machine and spot treatments. Instead, hold the stain under running, lukewarm water until it disappears. Gentle for the wool, the environment and easy for you!
If the wool is so dirty that airing it out does not do the job, please follow the washing instructions HERE.
Store your wool garments properly
Many people pack away the thicker wool when summer comes. To prevent moths and other insects from ingesting the clothes when they are to be found again in the autumn and winter, it is important to pay attention to how the clothes are packed away.
A general rule should be to store the wool in something that is dense – and the most important thing is that the wool clothes are dry and clean when they are packed away.
Be careful when you are taking on and off the wool products
Please be careful when taking on and off your wool products, as they are made of a delicate merino wool in fine quality. Do not pull too hard.
Sharp nails, zippers, velcros or buttons can easily get caught in the garment, which often leads to holes or damages.
